Learn how to cook sous vide steak with this recipe. The meat comes out beautifully tender and at the perfect temperature when cooked this way. Throw it on the grill or cast iron afterwards for extra flavor and color. I will be using the Breville Joule Sous Vide machine.

Ingredients
- 1 (18-24oz) Ribeye Steak
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 sprig of fresh Rosemary or Thyme
- Butter
- Salt and Pepper to Taste

Generously season steaks with salt and black pepper. Put garlic, butter, and rosemary or thyme on top of steak. Place into a large plastic bag and vacuum seal.

Place a heat-resistant pad underneath a large pot filled with water. Attach a sous vide precision cooker to the pot and set the temperature to 129 degrees F or (If using a smart Sous Vide machine use app to select temp and time). Immerse the bag with the steaks into the water bath and cook for about 1hr 30m or follow App

Remove the bag from the water bath and take out steaks. Pat very dry with paper towels.

Preheat an outdoor grill or cast Iron to medium-high heat and lightly oil. *Remember the steak should already be at the perfect temperature inside thanks to the sous vide you just need to add a good sear to each side. Let rest for 5 to 10min. Slice and Enjoy!
